DRC Polyphonic Synth — Full Operations Manual

Mobile + PC

Virtual analog polyphonic synthesizer by Imaginando. Runs on Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac. Cloud preset sync means patches designed on a phone appear on the desktop automatically. Two oscillators, sub oscillator, noise generator, dual filter section (Moog-style ladder + multimode), 3 LFOs, 3 ADSR envelopes, full modulation matrix, arpeggiator, built-in effects (delay, reverb, chorus), and 400+ factory presets. Operates as a standalone instrument on mobile and as a VST/AU plugin inside desktop DAWs.

1. Architecture Overview

DRC is a virtual analog polysynth — it models the behavior of classic hardware analog synthesizers in software. The signal flow follows traditional subtractive synthesis: oscillators generate raw waveforms → filters shape the harmonics → amplifier controls the volume → effects add space and character. Understanding this signal flow is understanding every analog synth ever made.

Quantize & Transpose

DRC is a synth instrument, not a DAW — quantize and transpose happen in the host:
